Our candles are made with 100% soy wax with a wood wick for a more luxury feel and look, creating a beautiful crackling sound while burning. They burn more evenly than traditional cotton wicks, providing minimal carbon, soot and debris build up.
Show your candle some extra love and prolonging its life by following the candle care guidelines.
How to care for your candle
TRIM YOUR WICK
Wood wicks require very little maintaining as they don't "mushroom" like cotton with so, in order to trim the wick all you need to do is pick or pinch off any charred wood from the previous burn and your flame will shine clean and bright again.
LET THE WAX POOL
When you light your candle, let the wax melt and pool across the whole surface of the candle, this avoids tunnelling and an even burn each time.
Burn your candle for a maximum of 4 hours at a time, never leave your candle to burn more than the recommended time frame.
Never leave your candle burning unattended, always make sure your candle is extinguished before leaving, burn on a stable and heat resistant surface, avoid drafts, keep away from children and pets, do not burn near flammable materials such as curtains.
END OF THE ROAD
When your candle has reached the end of the container, its time to clean it out and repurpose it, all you have to do is pour boiling water into the container, the remaining wax will melt and float to the surface, once cooled completely you can pick out the wax floating on top, pour out the water, rinse with warm soapy water and its good to go for its new purpose.
