About Soy wax and wood wicks
WHAT TO DO IF YOUR WOOD WICK KEEPS FLAMING OUT
If your wood wick isn't staying lit, it could mean your wick is either too long or too short.
You can pinch off any burnt bits using either your fingers, nail clippers or a wick trimmer, which ever you prefer, to ensure a crisp burn. The recommended length of the wick is between 3-5mm.
WHY IS MY CANDLE TOP BUMPY OR ROUGH AFTER BURNIN
Don't worry, this is completely normal for soy wax, in fact, its one of the best ways to tell if your candle is 100% soy. A rough or bumpy surface is super common with soy waxes, it happens when the candle cools at an inconsistent rate. Sometimes it will cool and dry as smooth as ever and sometimes it'll dry and look a little uneven.
The good news? This is completely natural and will not affect the performance of your candle.
